About Don McGray, CPP

Don is a board-certified management consultant who has over fifty (50) years of experience in both the corporate and military world. He spent 32 years in the military reserves (Texas Air National Guard and the U.S Air Force Reserves),  while concurrently managing corporate roles in banking, physical and corporate security, and corporate training.  Don has over thirty-five (35) years in security related experience.

During his service in the Texas Air National Guard, Don served in several roles. He spent a total of nine (9) years in the enlisted ranks in Security Forces. He then became an officer and spent six (6) years as a Weapons Systems Officer (WSO) in the F-4 C/D aircraft. He spent two (2) years as the Security Operations Officer, and then six (6) years as the Security Forces Commander.

Don spent nine (9) years in the US Air Force Reserves assigned to the 75th Division, US Army National Guard, serving as Air Operations officer, where he assisted the Division developing war plans.

Don spent sixteen (16) years at with Aramco Services Company, a subsidiary of Saudi Aramco, with eight (8) years as supervisor of the security unit, six (6) years as supervisor of the Background Investigations Unit, and two (2) years as an Internal Training Consultant. He also has Middle East cultural expertise from performing security consulting assignments in Saudi Arabia.

Don obtained his Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation in 2015 from ASIS International. This Board certification is the highest professional standard for security professionals.
