Principal Consultant-Don McGray, CPP

Starting out early in his career in sales, Don was a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) who was always asking “Who is the customer, what do they want, and how do you solve their problem?” He has used that consultative sales approach and “problem solving “process throughout his career and has been a transformational agent by changing departments into “strategic business partners”.

Don has over 30 years of experience in both the corporate and military world. He spent 30 years in the military reserves (Texas Air National Guard and the US Air Force Reserves), and managed a corporate career as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and held management roles in banking, physical and corporate security, and corporate training.  He also has Middle East cultural expertise and has performed consulting assignments in Saudi Arabia.

Throughout his career, Don has transformed departments into strategic business partners, including two military units: turning a security police squadron into the “Best Security Police Unit in the Air National Guard” and an Air Force Element into a strategic military partner with the US Army Reserves. In the corporate world, Don has transformed a physical security operation, a corporate security group, and a Learning & Development group into strategic business partners.

Don obtained his Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation in 2015. This Board certification is the highest professional standard for security professionals.
